We Were the Top News Story on Channel 7 Tuesday evening

It all started with these flowers and bushes...the landscapers came to the house for their monthly weeding and trimming work. But we weren't there first stop of the afternoon. They had done clean up in another section of our neighborhood and found what they thought was left over firecracker debris. So they picked up the sack and tossed it onto their trailer, until the supervisor noticed it. Upon his inspection they removed the sack and put it...

here...in front of our house. Then they called the sheriff's dept. to come inspect the sack. Who in turn called Ft. Sill's bomb squad!

They inspected the suspicious sack and determined it was a homemade explosive device.

They carefully and skillfully removed it and disengaged it without any problem.

We are thankful for their skill, patience and willingness to serve us and our neighborhood. We are most thankful to God for protecting us from a potentially harmful situation.
