LFA Christmas Eve Service
One of the highlights of Christmas for us is our LFA Christmas Eve service. This year the pastors recalled some of their favorite Christmas memories and we enjoyed congregational singing of Christmas Carols, followed by Pastor Don leading the congregation into a time of candlelight communion. What a special way to celebrate the birth of our King...JESUS!

PK's on the "Hunt" Looking for Baby Jesus
Sunday evening, December 21st the pastoral staff met at our home for a Christmas party for the PK's (preacher's kids.) To create a fun memory, we had 7 young adults create a Nativity Scene. The "wise men" (two guys and a "wise woman") rang the doorbell after all of the guests had arrived. They claimed they were in search of baby Jesus, so the hunt began. The children went upstairs and down, in search of the baby. After they arrived in the makeshift "Bethlehem" they found the baby. Everyone gathered around so Pastor Don could read us the Christmas story from the Bible. After the story, we sang some carols, then enjoyed food, fellowship and kid's gift exchange. It was a great evening.
