Avery Comes to Visit

Avery is almost 2. Just look at her go! She thinks she can do anything Asha does, from hoola hoop, jump rope, frisbee, "fishing," and even "school work!" What a great morning! I love having the PK's over whenever they can come see "Mrs. Linda!"

Lipizzaner Stallions Show

As part of Linda's birthday celebration, we went to the Great Plains Coliseum Thursday evening to watch the "World Famous" Lipizzaner Stallions in action. It was a great show! Big crowd and plenty of crowd pleasing stunts performed by the horses.

More of our new Korean Friends

Several of the host families brought their guests to our home for dessert and fellowship after the service tonight. We had a house full! It was great fun! Christina Woodson was delighted because one of her guest speaks Italian. She speaks Spanish and remarkably they were able to understand one another! One big family in the sight of our Lord!

Korean Choir Sings at LFA

Tonight LFA had a special privilege of hosting a choir from Korea. The above pictures are the children who sang. Not pictured was an adult choir who ministered in the service as well. We were privileged to house 3 young ladies. What a great cultural experience for all of us. The differences in our language was a bit of a barrier, but we enjoyed having them in our home.

Happy Valentine's Day

Don really hit a home run for Valentine's Day this year. The sign he is holding is a reminder of how he first told me that he loved me. In 1976, he went on a college choir tour in Florida. While on the beach, he wrote: "Linda, I love you! Don" in the sand. He took a picture of it, then put it in a card. So today, when I received the beautiful flowers he also affirmed his love by this thoughtful reminder! What a great day!
